THIS YEAR: Kelly Greathouse begins her first year at Pepperdine…Joins Kelsey Ball, Alicia Komaki and Felicia Martino as one of four newcomers on the Waves’ roster…A transfer from North Carolina State…Will redshirt the 2002-03 season in accordance with NCAA transfer rules…An excellent high post player with great hands…Can put the ball on the floor and score or pull up for a jumper from three-point range…Has good passing skills.

2001-02 (North Carolina State): Appeared in nine games and averaged 8.4 minutes a contest…Averaged 3.3 points and 1.8 rebounds a game…Shot 33.3 percent from the field, including 45.5 percent from behind the three-point arc…Made collegiate debut against George Washington and had four rebounds…Scored a career-high 12 points and totaled a personal-best seven rebounds at Indiana.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Buena High in Ventura, California…Selected as one of the top 10 recruits in the country by Women’s Basketball Magazine…Ranked as the 35th best overall player in the country by Blue Star recruiting services…Led Buena to a 102-15 mark during her four-year career…Team was ranked No. 1 in the country for several months during her senior year when she averaged 21.0 points and 11.9 rebounds a game…Earned all-conference and all-state honors all four years…A three-time Channel League “Player of the Year”…Earned All-America honors in 2001 from USA Today, Parade, WBCA and School Sports…Named “Co-Player of the Year” by the Los Angeles Times in 2001…Averaged 17.5 points and 10.5 rebounds a contest for her career…Holds Buena school records for career points (2,005) and rebounds (1.193).

Other than athletics, my favorite thing about Pepperdine is: That it is close to home and my parents can watch all of our games.

The main reason(s) I chose to attend this University:

Close to home, great academics and coach Trakh.

Something most people do not know about me: I was the first baby born in 1983 in Ojai, CA

My favorite thing to wear in the ‘80s (ex: LA Gear, tight rolled jeans, etc.) : Those “jellies” sandals – I’m a big sandal lover!

My first memory of playing basketball is : Watching my sister play and trying to copy her.
