Erikka Gulbranson will begin her first season with the Women of Troy as an assistant coach in 1999.

Gulbranson joins USC after serving as an assistant for Utah State in 1998 and the University of Idaho in 1997. 

She was an assistant coach at her alma mater, Cal State Bakersfield, from December 1995 to August 1997. While coaching at Bakersfield, she helped lead the team to a California Collegiate Athletic Association Championship, an NCAA Division II Southwest Regional championship and a berth in the NCAA Division II Elite Eight during both seasons.

Gulbranson has served as a head coach at the club and high school levels, as well as serving as an instructor at various volleyball camps around the country.

She graduated from Cal State University, Bakersfield with a Bachelors degree in physical education in 1995 and recieved her master's in education in 1997. She was a four-year letterwinner with the Roadrunners (1991-94) and was named to the Elite Eight all-tournament team at the 1994 NCAA Division II National Championships. She holds the Cal State Bakersfield career record for service aces (193) as well as setting the single-season mark with 70 in 1994.She is second on the career digs list with 1,437.
