    Krystal Mcfarland
Excellent athlete and will be highly recruited in her senior year.
She has given up basketball at Buena High to give her all to volleyball.
She plays on the 1998 USA Volleyball Youth Volleyball Team
    and played for the Renegades.
I first saw her play when she was just in the 6th grade
and her skills were well advanced for her age,
thanks to her desire and all her coaches.

    From Jimmy Miranda
    A good story about Krystal:
When she was in the fifth grade she came to watch her
sister play volleyball at the Buena - Ventura match.
I was helping Mike Russell set up the nets when I saw her
shooting hoops at the end of the court. I went up to her knowing that she was
a great athlete and challenged her to shoot a 3-point shot. I told her that
if I made the shot she would have to play club volleyball, if I missed it I
would never talk to her about volleyball again. Needless to say even without
shooting a basketball in 10 years, I got nothing but net!!!
    The rest is history.
