Brooke Rundle enjoyed one of the finest freshman seasons in the history of UC Santa Barbara Volleyball...Was named a Freshman All-American by Volleyball Magazine and Big West Freshman of the Year...Was also a First Team All-Big West selection...Finished her inaugural campaign with a Big West Conference best 1,575 total assists...Averaged 13.70 assists per game, second in the conference...Also averaged 0.63 kills per game and was third on the team with 2.65 digs per game...Although only 5-foot-6 she compiled 60 total blocks (6 solo, 54 assists) for an average of 0.52 blocks per game...She was one of only two Gauchos to have started in every match and play every game in 1998...Had a career-high 80 assists vs. Pacific on October 3rd...Had 70 or more assists four times on the season...Had 14 double-digit dig matches...Had a career-high 16 digs three times (Oral Roberts, Texas Tech, and Pacific)...Career-high six kills came versus Pacific on November 5th...Rundle was named to the All-Tournament team for the Judy Bellomo Classic.

Came to UCSB as one of the best prep players in the nation at Westlake High School...Led the Warriors to the 1997 CIF Division II Championship...Also led Westlake to consecutive Marmonte League Championships from 1995-97...Was named player of the year by the Los Angeles Times and The Daily News in 1997...Named Marmonte League MVP in 1996 and 1997 and First Team All-Marmonte in 1995...An All-American at the 1998 Junior Olympics where she led the Renegades to a second place finish.
